"Pastor’s Comment - “God’s Faithfulness & Our Christmas Tree”

Pastor’s Comment -

God’s Faithfulness & Our Christmas Tree

"The Christmas Tree - some are small, some are large, some are real, some are imitation, some are glass, some are wood; there are Christmas Trees of every shape and size, material, and color. The majority of us have at least one, or two, or three, or more? of them in and outside of our homes. And, we are always anxious to decorate them; many with treasured ornaments, passed down through the years, and many with new decorations and themes. As Christians, the Christmas tree is a symbol of God’s faithfulness to us. You see, because the evergreen remains green and lifelike when everything else appears to have died, or ended their green and blooming for the cold season, it has become that symbol of the constant and ongoing faithfulness of our Lord. He can be trusted to keep his word; he will not fail us or forsake us. He proved that by faithfully keeping his promise to send the world a Savior, who died for our sins and arose from the grave for our salvation and eternal life with Him. As you decorate your special tree, this Christmas season, may you be reminded of God’s faithfulness to you. And, when the
season becomes too hectic and maybe a little too frenzied..sit down and look at your Christmas tree and remember God’s faithfulness. “Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.” (Psalm 117) A Very Merry & Blessed Christmas to All!"
